the world is watching

and i ain't about to be disappointin'. to think, just few posts ago we were so innocent. it was i hope david encases something somewhat ironic in plastic, but not as ironic as what i encase in plastic oh well la la la la! and now, lord, jimm lasser and alex dobson and maybe even others are reading this and i am about to lose my mind. it almost makes me want to stop reading my own and davids own press and get back to the art of encasing something ironic in plastic. yeah man, old school!

back to the irony mines!

i have been obsessed with the art form of encasing ironic things in plastic ever since i abandoned my previous artistic phase of trying to paint the most earnest thing possible on a velvet canvas.

reading your posts has brought back some of the fond memories from my personal journey to encase the most ironic thing possible in plastic. i vividly remember the day i stumbled across the notion of attempting to encase irony itself in plastic.

i don't know what the ironic merit of encasing this comment to your blog posting in plastic would be, but i would be greatly indebted if you were to even consider it.

perhaps i will retrieve a few of the ironic things i once encased in plastic from my art warehouse and send you some ironic and plastic encased jpegs.

godspeed in your quest. i know all too well of the kind of sleepless nights and fretting that you will surely endure as you attempt to chisel your own legacy in the plastic encased annals of this artistic sub-category.
